WIP: "The Vala Wing"
Main character: Kitrik Veran
"The Lighthouse is about to start docking procedures. All crew prepare for docking. All passengers headed to Hejkerba prepare for debarking," a female voice on the Public Announcement system says in the Gaian spaceship The Lighthouse. A dulle yellow light illuminates above the doors, indicating for the crew and passengers to be alert.
'So here we go,' he thinks to himself, 'Maybe I can find quiet here, if I'm lucky.'
He sits up from resting on a thin bunk and swings his feet to the floor. His feet slip into his mud-caked boots immediately, a habit he has had for most of his life. He takes his hat off the coat rack, puts it on, grabs his luggage and leaves the small quarters.
